Our mission

We seek to provide a hand up not a hand out, and to support orphaned or impoverished children to access shelter, healthcare and education for the best start in life.

Our objectives

We work in many different ways with local children in Mwanza, but our objectives can be described by three priorities:

• Ensure that children are able to get the best possible start in lift through access to good education
• Work with families to ensure that children have access to a nutritious diet
• Ensure that children have access to good quality healthcare.

IN PRACTICE THIS MEANS WE:

• Provide sponsorship for school fees of children in primary and secondary education
• Support families of disadvantaged children with small monthly grants for food & welfare
• Cover healthcare costs when required
• Run community groups to engage children from the wider community in sports, art, and additional tuition
